Who We Are
Stony Fork Community Church strives to glorify God by centering our lives around the Great Commandment (Matt 22:35-40) and the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20). We depend on God and His grace to ever grow in our love for Him and our love for our neighbor. This occurs as we whole-heartedly believe the gospel of Jesus Christ and live it out within the context of the local church. We also depend on God and His grace to obey Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations. This occurs as we share the gospel with the lost locally and abroad, and we disciple one another in the church, preparing one another for Christ’s return.
Mark Watts – Lead Pastor
Mark was raised in Rock Hill, SC by godly parents, Kim and Jeff Watts. God saved him at a young age through faithful discipleship by his parents and church family. Mark began to sense a desire for ministry during his high school years. He attended North Greenville University to pursue ministry training and graduated with a BA in Christian Studies. Since then, Mark has graduated with a MA in Church Ministries from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Educational Ministry in Applied Theology from
the same institution. He is married to his lovely wife, Kristina, and they together have three children, Julia, Charlie, and James. Mark and Kristina long to see local churches depend on God’s Word and grow in His love through His Son by His
Spirit. Mark loves reading, Kristina loves cooking, and they all love being outside.
